Location

Approximately 3/4 of a mile upstream of Banff bridge.

Summary

The water is completely tidal and fishes from 3 hours after high water to 3 hours before high water.

The Fishing

Wading is advised particularly for fly fishing from the left bank which is adjacent to Royal Duff House Golf Course.
Bag limit is currently 3 fish per day.
Kelts and stale fish and fish under 12" in length must be returned to the river.
Farmed fish must be killed irrespective of condition.
Spinning is permitted but not advised when summer low levels prevail.
Multiple treble hooks are forbidden on fly or spinner.
Trout/sea trout tackle is adequate.

The Fish

The water is usually fished from mid April onwards.

Visitors permits - ?4 per day - Mon-Fri Juniors & OAP's - ?2 per day - Mon-Fri Adults -?10 per week- Mon-Fri
Juniors & OAP's -?4 per week- Mon-Fri Saturdays are retained for members.
