Location

Situated about 5 miles upstream of Huntly just off the A920 Huntly- Dufftown road. Edinglassie is about 1 mile south of the Haugh of Glass on the way to the Cabrach.

Summary

The Edinglassie beat extends for 1.5 miles of the left bank from the confluence of the Chapel burn to where the Markie burn joins the Deveron just above Invermarkie.

The Fishing

FLY ONLY and is not let commercially. However, a limited number of days for up to two rods are available via the proprietor.There are eight named pools which hold salmon, these can be very productive under the right conditions. The brown trout fishing is excellent.

Prices

2 rods per day for a limited number of days @ ?25 per rod/day. We do offer days for under 16's at a cost of ?5 per rod/day. ALL PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE DEVERON, BOGIE & ISLA RIVERS CHARITABLE TRUST
