Fisheries Management Plan

As part of a Scotland-wide collaboration between Rivers and Fisheries Trusts Scotland (RAFTS) and the Scottish Government, RAFTS members have been asked to produce Fishery Management Plans for their respective areas.

Following a public consultation period the DBIT have produced a final version of the management plan. The Trust is grateful to the many individuals and organisations who took the time to respond during the consultation period. Almost all of the comments received were positive and the content of the plan has been amended to incorporate comments wherever possible.

 We hope that the publication of the plan will result in the implementation of the actions identified, all of which will help to protect and improve local fisheries. The final FMP can be found here.

The production of the FMP was funded by the Scottish Government.
